For those wishing to dive into Batman’s filmography, but unsure where to start, we’ve got you covered. Batman has been portrayed by seven actors in live-action (nine if you count the serials), and each one has brought their own unique spin to the iconic role. The release of a Batman film is usually considered an event, as each movie dominates the pop culture conversation. The Caped Crusader has starred in numerous blockbuster films, and he shows no signs of slowing down. (Well, earlier if you include movie serials… but we’ll get there soon enough.) But with so much Bat-action on the big screen - and so many different Batmen, for that matter - it’s a very fair question to ask, “how am I supposed to watch all of these Batman movies?” Friends, we’re glad you asked. The latest on-screen incarnation of DC’s Dark Knight has been released - the animated Merry Little Batman, on Prime Video - continuing the never-ending war on crime that Bruce Wayne has been waging in comics since 1939, and on the cinema screen since 1966. As has been the case for more than half a century at this point, it’s beginning to look like Batman.
